I am:
A creative researcher and strategic problem-solver, passionate about leveraging data to build, test, and scale impactful products, programs, and policies that generate opportunity and lead to a more sustainable world.
A collaborative team-builder, experienced in developing and cultivating effective partnerships between diverse teams of scientists, designers, engineers, strategic operators, entrepreneurs, investors, and policy-makers to tackle ambitious projects.
An empathetic leader, driven towards facilitating the conditions where others can learn, develop, and do their best work. I am comfortable with ambiguity and am able to guide teams from abstract ideas to concrete action.
I started my career as an engineer. Wanting to increase my ability to drive social impact, I completed a master’s degree in Economics and joined Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), a global research and advisory organization dedicated to discovering and advancing what works to improve people’s lives. Working alongside brilliant colleagues at IPA for more than 10 years on three continents, I had the opportunity to develop, support, and lead hundreds of collaborations between academic, policy, and private-sector actors. These efforts resulted in meaningful improvements in policy, program, and product design and delivery, impacting millions of lives.
Currently, I serve as a Senior Evidence Specialist at USAID’s Development Innovation Ventures (DIV), where I lead impact and cost-effectiveness diligence for the $50M+ annual fund, ensuring investments prioritize high-return, scalable solutions. I also advise cross-agency teams on evaluating and scaling cost-effective programs, driving evidence-based decision-making across USAID.
Outside of work, I enjoy tinkering in the shop and playing in the mountains.
